This past year, Palm Cottage was seriously affected by Hurricane Ian, causing damages and destruction. Since the passing of the hurricane, the Naples Historical Society was forced to close its doors and begin restoration efforts on this historical piece of Naples society. While it is currently still closed, the Historical Society has announced the grounds will once again open for the public on April 4th, 2023, and will be FREE to all that visit during the opening week, April 4th-8th, from 12 pm-4 pm.
